Hotel Continentale - Lungarno Collection

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a surprising design hotel in the heart of Florence. Part of the Ferragamo Lungarno group and just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, this hotel is a true haven for fashionistas. My room was an intimate and cozy snug, with a spacious bathroom. However, it might be a bit tight for two people. I was fortunate to be on the alley side and slept soundly throughout my four-night stay. The white room and relax lounge on the first floor were another one of those hidden treasures. Perfect tranquil havens in hectic Florence for a short break. From check-in to turndown service and departure, the staff made me feel like a VIP. They were the true stars of the hotel – professional, personable, and incredibly friendly. When my wallet was unfortunately pickpocketed, they went above and beyond to offer assistance. While the hotel's rooftop was closed for the winter, the rooftop at its sister hotel across the way was a hidden gem with amazing views. I'm already looking forward to returning soon. Spectacular service, very attentive, polite, helpful, responsive and accommodating. Brilliant location, comfortable rooms, beautiful decor.

Breakfast was in sister hotel a few steps over the road. Pleasant staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From front desk to the cleaning service Beds and pillows and linens excellent. Could not be in a better place and even though we were on the Ponte Vecchio the rooms are quiet. I will be back!!

Beautiful hotel in fantastic location, near to all the main sights in Florence. Our room was relatively small but was appointed beautifully with stylish decor and furniture. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. We visited the sister hotels located nearby for dinner/drinks and would highly recommend both. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the delights of Florence.

It was a last minute stay due to a cancellation of my flight. The staff made me feel extremely welcome and I am very happy to have discovered the Hotel. The facilities for people who have checked out but not yet left Firenze have been well thought out and confirm the Hotel's sense of hospitality and respect for guests. I will definitely return.
